Unless I missed it ... is this system a laptop or a desktop?

And I agree with the comment of someone earlier about the processor being an i3. The engine software is the absolute latest and takes advantage of functions your i3 may not have.

Very early on I had a 2007 era desktop with a Core Duo chip in it and only 4 gigs of ram and could run the game fine. Then they did an upgrade one day and I couldn't run the game any longer. I had to go buy a new i7.

Laptops are generally not good gaming systems, imho. You are not allowed to make customizations to a lappy, like upgrading your video card and the like. Desktops are completely flexible. (Disclaimer, yes, I know I'm going to hear from several people who have laptops, but a dollar to a donut sez they're custom made gaming laptops and not your standard run of the mill types.)
