It seems there's agreement for the drill camp restrictions to be removed.
Right now, the script for each regiment (their uniform, class names, restrictions and such) is used for all game modes.
Bit more complicated to split the system. But could be an option for the future
Are there plans to combine the "Drill Server" with the normal servers in the future? I assume they will be interchangeable one day and not limited to either running Drill Maps or combat ones.
Incorrect. I'm not a proponent of 'public' chat on the server (better to not have it) but I had a server for years and years and years with no limit (up to +31 on a side) and very rarely did teams stay stacked for long due to people appealing to fix teams unless required by the scenario. Besides that's where the game should step in with subtle penalties in spawn times to the stacked team (works like a charm) unless the server set a flat time spawn. +1/2/3/15 isn't really as big of a deal as people make it out to be. All scenarios should be possible. +/- 1 team balance is a criminal absurdity in an Alpha of all places (now's the time to experiment with stacked teams)
