We are asking you guys to please stop doing this. Here's a great example of what that looks like, and how it builds amicable relationships and mutual respect: during the trailer event, the various companies of the II Corps subordinated themselves to the officers of the 1st Texas, while a company of the II Corps, the Sixth Louisiana, was given the honor of carrying the colors. No drama, no rank pulling, single-mindedness towards accomplishing an objective. The saying is true that Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
