    we are getting of the constant server crashes during event

    3 days in a row the server has crashed during our events did it fri nite, sat nite, and now sunday after please fix this it is giving all the new people back feeling and we are starting to lose people
    and i mean full total server crashed and you were in the last battle today when it did why is this happening it was fine for months not the last 3 patches have broken it

    thanks our new recruits are starting to not come around anymore

    Hi there!

    Thanks for the report.

    We're aware of the issues and are working to resolve them. A lot of new stuff was introduced 4 days ago which is likely the cause.

    The crashing seems to get pretty bad once we get near the 120 player mark.
    Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in!

    Agreed, around the 110-120 player mark, don't know if it had to do with the corpse count going over the limit and that sets the server to crash but I thought that was over with when Fancy pushed a small 10kb update saying that should have got it. Anyways it's so persistent it's like its hardcoded not to allow us to have more than around 120 players, hopefully with this info you'll be able to resolve it soon

    The server crashes appear to be related to the new spawn points. We are working towards resolving the issue as well as other issues with the new spawn points.

    I'm sorry to hear you believe we're headed in the wrong direction.

    We hotfixed yet another server crash tonight thanks to the dedicated testing by you guys (one server crashed, allowing us to locate and fix the issue which we did and then restarted all test servers with the fix included).

    The digital as well as physical backer rewards will be introduced at the release of the game at the latest.

    Lastly I'd just like to point out that you've not bought "stuff" - you've pledged via a crowdfunding campaign in an effort to help the development of a game out and as a small gesture of thanks for doing so you will be given certain rewards. Thanks to everyone who's decided to go ahead and support us - wouldn't be a game without you guys.

    If it was that easy to have high population the quote "Big Boys" would be doing it. Back when Planetside 1 was a thing Sony email me and complained my guild would crash server (150 zoning in with drop ships and fighters etc). Um Fortnite and Pubg limit 100 cause all the data overload. IMO* what happens is mostly trouble with the database. Not everyone can afford a top of the line Oracle Fujitsu server with all the CPU's unlocked lol (Only the U.S. Govt and maybe a few companies with money to burn). That's about the only thing that will eventually break the viable player zone barriers. At some point a sanity level needs to be determined for stable function and just settle with it until such a time as engine tech can advance. This is the proper phase to push such things but let's not let it become a roadblock for too long as it's just futile to think that somehow live populations can magically go way higher than what the big players can pull off with unlimited engine and server budgets.
