    Headquarters IX Corps,
    Fairfax, VA, August 14th, 2020

For continuous dedication to the IX Corps and excellence on the field of battle I am proud to promote Sergeant Major Drache to the rank of 1st Lieutenant as well as the title of Inspector General. The inspector general is charged with examining the actions of the Corps as a general auditor of operations to ensure the Corps is operating in compliance with generally established policies of the corps, to audit the effectiveness of training procedures, and overall support the sustainability and effectiveness of the Corps on and off the battlefield. I thank you for all you have done and I can not wait to see the things you will do for the Union cause.

    T. R. Dicembrino,
    Brigadier-General, Commanding IX Corps.

From August 6-11th the IX Corps put on a trip to tour the Battlefields of the Maryland Campaign alongside a few others in the area. We successfully toured 1st & 2nd Bull Run, Chantilly, Harpers Ferry, Antietam, Fox's Turner's & Crampton's Gaps at South Mountain, Cedar Mountain, Harrisburg National Civil War Museum, and Gettysburg. We also brought reproduction IX Corps and 9th NY Battle flags with us! Thank you to all those who attend and hopefully next year we can get even more IX Corps members to attend! Also no one got COVID so that's also a success!

Those who were able to attend:
Brigadier General Tyler - Attended the whole trip
Major Hawkeye - Missed Bull Run and Harpers Ferry
Major Mercenary - Missed Bull Run and Harpers Ferry
1st Lieutenant Drache - Attended the whole trip
1st Lieutenant Fury - Only missed Bull Run
Sergeant Veiled - Attended the whole trip
Sergeant Suzan - Only missed Bull Run
Corporal Wren - Attended the whole trip
Corporal NCR TROOPER - Antietam only
    Private ChrisJ - Antietam only
    Private Snipez - Antietam only
Private Vader - Just came for dinner
