    Dear 8th Florida,

I joined my regiment (the 52ndNY) a few months ago. Since that time I, as a small part of our regiment, had the honour to fight alongside and against you Florida boy's on some occasions at the field of Glory. I must say it has become quite a pleasure to play with, and against the 8th Florida. The spirit and morale of the men (and Woman?) of your regiment, together with smart decisions and bold movements of its leaders and the shown discipline at the skirmishes are recommendable and exemplary for our WoR community.
Because all of it is the key to having fun playing this game. Even if one gets his ass kicked like us yesterday.

Having said all that, i'm really looking forward to our next encounter. This time of course we just might get our revenge.

Sincerely Yours and a hearty HUZZAH,

    Andrew Walsh,
    Private, 52ndNY Volunteers

Unfortunately no woman hehe. Thank you for the kind words. The pleasure has been ours. We are always looking forward to see our buttocks getting kicked with you, or by you! See you on the battlefield!

It has been sometime since we've posted an update in our forum thread so i have attached links to a few of our skirmish battles we have been having with our friends in the UEC (and especially our comrades of the Alabama German Legion!).

Many thanks for filming our battles JOEHOVA! As always we are looking for more men to fight for the state of Florida!

This week the 8th Florida had another brutal but awesome battle with the TGV and United European Community! This time we fighting with the Union regiments 20th NY and 52nd NY against the 8th AL and 18th NC (who just returned from their summer break - welcome back guys!). We managed to pull off two very close victories attacking on Burnside Bridge and attacking on Roulette Lane, both maps have been made much tougher with the new artillery but it made for some spectacular shots during the fight! Check out the videos recently published on the 8th Florida Official Youtube channel and on also streamed in third person by our great friend JOEHOVA (who makes some of the best War of Rights content on Youtube!).

If you are interested in joining the 8th Florida we are always looking for new recruits! Check out our main forum post at https://www.warofrightsforum.com/sho...ntry-Company-A

Last week the 8th Florida was, once again, called to defend the south against the northern aggressor! We had two awesome battles on Pry Ford and the Sunken Lane with our friends of the Alabama German Legion (Mighty 88 lets go!) against two of the strongest union companies in War of Rights - the 20th NY and 51st NY! Although they were both very challenging battles the mighty 88 of the 8th Florida and 8th Alabama managed to win both fights! It was an interesting weekend as the 12 pounder napoleons just came into the game, i think we learnt the hard way that they must be respected!
Both battles again were filmed by our great friend JOEHOVA (best war of rights youtuber) who brought his exciting commentary and insights to the battles. If you are interested in joining the 8th Florida please take a look at the first post in this thread, join our discord and fight for southern honour!
