    Yeah they stopped a while back. I built a single button frock coat with Ben Tart material by measuring out the cuts using the Wambaugh. Didnt want to pay for two sets.

    Ben Tart makes just about the best jean you can get. Real nice guy too I used to pick his brain every time I met up with him.

    His wife is very nice aswell, gave a few sewing tips.

    To A P Hill, while yes Regimental has some of their items, they are usually one offs and marked at first rate prices.

    Ben's? I never met her, they got married around the time I hung up my gear. The guy knows his stuff, I believe his Thesis was on 19th century dies or something like that. If I'm not mistaken, he was also the one that brought Indigo died flannel to the market for US sack coats. Up until that point it was just blended wool with very cheap dye that would turn to purple over time.

    Not sure about the kits, but they do still sell frocks.

    Slightly off topic, but my dad and I got us a couple of those limited run US regulation blankets from them, those things are the best investment we've ever made. Highly recommend them to anyone that needs a blanket to finish compiling their impression.
