Well, that's a fair point about redundant work, but I don't think that testing the graphic on the drill camps will work, because they are very large (larger than even Hooker's Push) and people don't shoot at each other- they shoot at semi-known range targets.
If the scale is added to the skirmish maps, though, you'll have a more comprehensive testing base in the environment it's designed for, so you should get more relevant results.
