type the command in the steam launch options or just change your name on steam.

What are you doing for the 30 or so seconds it takes to reload your rifle on spawning? Sitting idly by watching the monitor bob and weave? It takes all of 15 seconds to use the console to change your name.

IMO, it'd be much better to have a name option in-game instead of just using Steam's, but that'll probably eventually be in.
