If you guys don't like Epic Games fine, then don't buy it on Epic Games. And people that do use Epic games will buy it. Epic Games is going to crush steam when they improve their website and we all know it. They offer a way better profit margin than Valve, and only reason why everyone isn't jumping aboard epic games at the moment is because their service isn't as good for consumers as steams. But Campfire games can have their game on two platforms can they not? I've seen Subnautica on both.
As Hayden Dingman Claims, in the PcWorld idg, "You can expect to see more exclusives this year. It’s a fact. I doubt any of them will make the same mistake as Metro Exodus, announcing two weeks before release and after the game’s already been available for purchase on Steam. But there are more exclusives to come. If you’re a “No Steam, No Buy” person, your 2019 lineup is going to be full of some major holes."
Epic Games is way less consumer friendly than steam. There is no review system and the refund system is not very good either. I'll stick with steam to the end, they are not holy by any means but they are far from the worst.

Just this:
As a means of opening possible new markets to release software and possibly if the numbers mentioned are correct, allow for CG to retain more of their operating capital.
But like a lot of things here, it's branched off into a discussion of it's own.
