    Officer Quantity per side

Hi Devs, Playing Harpers Ferry yesterday as CSA and noticed we had 3 officers on our side. Has the officer count been upped recently and i missed it?

I’ve noticed this happening as well. I believe it happens when multiple people select the officer class at the exact same time and quickly spawn in at the beginning of the round.

Now that would be fun to test with both sides choosing Officer on a TS countdown ... all at the same time. /evilgrin

Not totally on topic but as this discussion is up i'd like to ask if we might see 3-4 officer slots per regiment/company on the drill servers some time. It would really help for organized drill Events and such. Thanx for response!!

The exact 'number' of officers & Nco's was debated for a lengthy period, the main idea was to limit this class to prevent so called 'ramboing' or 'heroes of the wild west'.

However it might be nice if server admins could set the number of officers/nco's & flags so multiple regiments can have an officer/flag.

Bit more complicated to split the system. But could be an option for the future

ive only ever seen it happen personally when the teams are full. Maybe its kind of like the "misfire" feature. We must've gotten some better primers now.

I was thinking about it the other day. It may be a good idea once server pop gets a bit higher to experiment with 3 regiments selectable in a skirmish area.

When will server pop be likely to increase?
