Why are you non-generals here in the General forum?
Heh heh heh juuust kidding. Really though, I'm back for this game now and I'm ecstatic that it has progressed so much. I set up a twitch stream and I'm looking for some people to play with. I played on the 4th Texas server last night and it was pretty fun though I didn't know much of what I was doing. I'm a little confused as to how the whole company system works and how to join up. Preferably I'd like an NC company as I'm an NC native, however, it doesn't really matter as long as I'm on an active server. Honestly I'm not familiar enough with steam to know how to add people (I have 3 different SNs associated with my account and not sure which one to use to add people without sacrificing my account security)
So far I've gathered that you should:
- not spawn as an officer unless you know what you're doing and can give knowledgable/useful orders
- always reload after you spawn, and generally, equip your bayonet just in case
- stay in cover
- stay in formation (generally)
- know when to reload versus charging or moving
- use double quick mode instead of sprint everywhere
- take calculated shots but don't aim your rifle for too long or you'll be less accurate due to fatigue
- listen to your superiors
What I don't know is the meta aspects associated with signing up for and being in a company as well as adding people on steam (is that even necessary?).
