Are there resources as to what small arms the confederacy had early on?

I'm looking into the small arms that the confederacy started with and had very early on, basically right up until harpers ferry.
I'm not sure if there were documented records for regiments and what they were armed with or whether state militia's simply threw whatever fired at men and hoped for the best but does anyone have any decent links or sources I could perhaps read up on?

I know of the general weapons of the time but i'm after if possible specifics on unit issue rather than generally available, I figure it has to be written somewhere because you can't be sending .69 cal musket ammo to a unit armed with .58 cal rifles and vice-versa.
    thank you

Here's a link to weapons pertinent to the Antietam Campaign.
