It's due to the recent major performance improvements making use of newer code developments to take better advantage of the CPU. In doing so, the 13 year old first gen i CPU series (that we have never officially supported as our minimum requirement has always been a 2nd gen) is now not able to run said newer code due to its age.

I'm sorry to see you go.

I hope one day you'll be able to upgrade your PC to meet the minimum requirements of the game and join us once again.

Thank you. Y'all could always buy me a new computer so that you don't lose such an old and "valued" member of the community along with the 300,000,000 people who love me. I mean now there will only be the 3 trolls left that don't care...

The CPU yes, the Intel integrated graphics card, no.

Cryengine requires a dedicated graphics card to be able to run.

I'm terrible at shopping for computers, so I can relate to your situation. Why not reach out to your regiment and see if anyone particularly tech savvy could recommend a good machine within the limits of your budget?
