The Fifth Regulars are pleased to announce the opening of our direct fire support unit "Tidball's Battery" for recruitment. The Battery has been raised with the purpose of delivering swift and effective fire support to the battlefield all the while working in tandem with the Fifth Cavalry and it's allies to secure victory. Much-like its parent unit the battery strives to remain as historically authentic to the period with emphasis put on learning and adapting the 1864 manual "Evolutions of Batteries" for use in-game as-well as maintaining a accurately organized artillery section with proper roles and responsibilities for each rank. The Battery is currently aiming to successfully raise two pieces, one for each time-zone (NA and EU) respectively.

    ATTENTION TO ORDERS!

It's with great pleasure that I present this warrant to Sergeant Keane for his great valor and fidelity show within his service to the 5th Cavalry Regiment. Through his abilities of leadership shown during events and company drills, Sergeant Keane has taken it upon himself to sacrifice his own personal time to better the regiment and the men within. Numerous times has he assisted the company officers in the role as an orderly helping with official record keeping, attending event coordination, as-well as the scheduling and leading of company drills.

    J.N. Johnson, Capt. Company A, 5th U.S. Cavalry.

It's with great pleasure that I present these warrants to Sergeant Michael and Corporal Owens of Company A for their valor, fidelity and good conduct displayed during their service to the 5th Cavalry Regiment. Through their abilities as leaders shown during events and company drills, these men have displayed a willingness to learn and progress themselves as Non-Commissioned Officers to better the regiment and the men within. Numerous times have these men assisted with attending event coordination and the leading of company drills.

    ATTENTION TO ORDERS!

    Headquarters, 5th U.S. Cavalry,
Camp near Sharpsburg, June 25th, 1862.

It's with great pleasure that I present a warrant to Sergeant Owens and a Commission to Lieutenant Keane both of Company D for their patriotism, valour, fidelity and good abilities. These men have worked tirelessly over the past few months to raise a new company of the 5th U.S. Cavalry to join the regiment on the fields of battle. Sergeant Owens has been with the regiment for almost a year now and has quickly become one of our best NCOs; He is always looking out for the new troopers and is there to answer any questions they have. Lieutenant Keane had been acting as the First Sergeant in A Company for the past two months where he had assumed command of the company numerous times during battle while the commissioned officers were unavailable for duty. Through his determination and effort, Keane had recruited a considerable amount of new troopers as well as instructed the company on the various drill maneuvers.

    J.N. Johnson,
    Capt. Company A, 5th U.S. Cavalry.
