I wish to ask all the 52nd members: how would you feel about a support/special/a much better name rank? This would include Flag Bearers, Fifers, Drummers, stuff like that. This isn't anything official; it's up to Maximus whether they'll have a unique rank or just be chosen before a battle, or whatever he comes up with, but this is more just how the company thinks of the idea.

As said before, they'd be assigned to those support roles which don't directly fight, but are still an important part of the lines. A member of the support rank wouldn't play a support troop all the time either, per se. Considering you'd only have 1-2 of both musicians and flag bearer, surely a group of members who are about 5 in numbers, maximum, would get bored? And a one or two wouldn't be able to play in every event either.

Essentially, the support rank members would take turns as flag bearer, and every support rank troop left would most likely be normal foot soldiers with muskets. Having one or two members over for the support rank would also be beneficial considering a single, assigned flag bearer probably couldn't make it to every event.

Or to have the excess support troops be the assigned "secondaries" who would pick up the flag and carry it would work too.

So guys, what do you think?

As long as it doesn't get too complicated. I can speak some German and I know German orders, but nothing conversational (and I get the feeling that many here are the same).
