52nd New York 1 year ago when y'all first received your colors
Thank you very much for the reminder Cpt. Vito! It was a very welcomed self-made present from the Company for the Company. And we are still greatful to the devs. to make this happen!
Other than that the Company congratulates Volunteer Ryant to his promotion to Private and now full member of the community. Well done Soldier!!
The 52nd New York is proud to announce this weekends promotions among the A and B Companies. First and foremost the promotion of Corporal Stahl to the rank of Sergeant. Well deserved, Soldier! The Staff of the 52nd is confident, that the duties of Sergeant will be fulfilled as perfect as those of the Corporal by Johann F. Stahl. Furthermore Congratulations to Privates Frederick Vormweg and Peter Larkin. Latter had to wait a long time for his well deserved Promotion, so the Staff is pleased that this could now be done.
The 52ndNY held some nice Drills on Friday and Saturday. Saturdays Walkout shall be memorized with our new three striped eye-catcher in the front file.
The Drill found it´s necessary climax in a very needed Execution.
After Saturdays Drill the 52nd entered the Battle-Grounds to fight their fellow southerners of the 18thNC and was able to grind two more victories over our blinded brothers of Jefferson the traitor. With the highest respect, your "German Rangers"!

Last weekends drill again saw some promotions among the German Rangers. The Company Staff congratulates all honourable men who got promoted!
Furthermore some service level promotions have been awarded:
Veteran Kevin Morris made the service level of Ranger among the 52nd NYSVI
Pvt. Michael O´Keefe made the service level of Regular among the 52nd NYSVI
Pvt. Jonas Clarke made service level of Regular among the 52nd NYSVI
Pvt. Ignaz Steinheart made service level of Regular among the 52nd NYSVI
The Drill again was instructive and exhaustive to keep the 52nd a well drilled unit among the Union.
After the Drill the 52nd entered the skirmish against our enemy-ours the 18thNC. In a very welcome change of behavior because of some manually map "rotations" the 52nd found itself in some amusing men-choirs and round-fights in the midst of some cap points. Some very welcomed hoax!
The two rounds of skirmishes brought us again two victories. In the East Woods it was 42ndPA Recruit Cottons bravery that saved the Union from an otherwise perfectly deserved victory by the forces of Hell. The second skirmish turned out to be a well deserved Union victory. We do thank all the participating companies and loners, who helped make this a great evening for fans of WoR!
Respectfully,
the German Rangers of the 52nd NYSVI
This weekend saw the brave 52nd New York as dirty barefeet soldiers of the South. But let`s start from the beginning.
The whole Drills of the weekend had been themed towards the grand Batallion Drill of the "German Volunteers" Community this last Saturday. Thus the Company drilled the columns of fourth and the company into line out of that very formation. The company leaders have been very pleased with what they saw and the 52nd was as ready as Lincolnites can possibly be to leave civilisation behind and slip into those tatters that them Planters call uniforms.
Fridays Company Drill was completed by some more very well earned promotions among the Company. The Company Staff congratulates all Promoted!
Promotions in service levels have been:
Pvt. Desmond Mendes made the service level of Regular among the Company.
Pvt. John Biek made the service level of Regular among the Company.
Pvt. Otto Dallewitz made the service level of Regular among the Company.
On Saturday the grand Batallion Drill among the "German Volunteers" was a complete success and every soldier was very excited and pleased with the outcome. The Batallion consisted of 4 Companies. Those have been the 52ndNY as 1st Company followed by our brothers in arms the 2ndWI as 2nd Company, the 18thNC Comp.A as 3rd Company and the 18thNC Comp.G as 4th Company. The Drill consisted of a wonderful dress parade and afterwards some movement in columns of 4th by every attending company. Then the companies fell from the columns of 4th into line. All these formations have been executed in the best manner by all companies. With a wheeling the companies ended up in a nice formation to start the firing drill. It was an eye-opener to see the Batallion working together that perfect and the Salvo by the Batallion was enjoyed by everybody. After a charge over plain field the Batallion came together for the final ceremony.
The 52nd New York thanks the Legion Staff and all Officers of the TGV involved for their engagement to help make this event as great as it turned out to be. We are looking forward for the next Batallion Drill. This time on the US Drill Camp and with less holes in the uniforms.
Thanks for your reading,
Respectfully,
the German Rangers
