    4th Anniversary!!

four years ago, our 52nd New York was founded by me, with the aim of a good and orderly unit in War of Rights. After a long journey through Napoleonic Wars and North and South, the authentic and realistic War of Rights was a true oasis.

Our journey began with the 66th New York, 42nd Pennsylvania, 20th New York and 1st New Jersey Artillery.

Over the past four years, our unit has changed greatly from an international unit to a German-speaking company.

Together with 1st New Jersey and 20th New York we founded the German Volunteers, a community for all German-speaking units in War of Rights.

From the very beginning, we attached great importance to drill and line infantry. Since then, we've been improving all the time.

I'd like to thank all the helpers of the first days, without whom the project could not have started. Wess_Hudson who made many nice videos. Archangel, who provided a temporary forum and Teamspeak. DavidDire, the first sergeant of the unit, who helped me to put together the training plan.

A big thank you to Roy Winters, John Leonhard, John Smith and Adolph Fritz, without whom the 52nd New York would never have become what it is today:

A wonderful community of players and history lovers!

    52nd New York Infantry -
    Excelsior!

Captain of the 52nd New York Infantry "German Rangers" or "Sigel Rifles", Company A

Herzlichen Glückwunsch an unsere deutschen Kameraden! Es ist immer schön, Sie auf dem Feld zu sehen, eine wunderschöne Einheit! Auch eine gute Ausrede, um mein rostiges Deutsch zu benutzen...
Viel Glück für die kommenden Jahre!
