Anybody can for a COMPANY. Forming a regiment is currently locked as the next highest tier is a Battalion.

The most likely option is 2 Co. = 1 Battalion, 2 Bn = 1 Regiment. So a Regiment would need 4 Co. which would be very tough to achieve

thats not true, there are accounts of regiments consisting of 2 coy's.

George the point of stopping people reserving regiments is to stop people locking popular regiments.

The 2-1 rations going Co. Bn. Reg. is meant to making it damn hard to form a regiment, thus blocking the name, not follow perfect historical accuracy.

I would like to hope that if you had 6 companies of the same regiment all playing then some compromise can be made to form the regiment from them. Some of the more popular units could easily end up with all 10 taken and if only 4 can make a reg and they all want to form a big one then like i say hopefully the 2-1 are just mins not maxs

I know that you can only do companies i was merely wondering in the event of rather popular ones that could end up with more than 4 companies and if they all want to form a regiment despite all being unknown to to others will that option exist. I think it will be surprising how popular some units might be. Numbers wise however it might lead to small company sizes.

On a side not will their be a maximum cap limit to ranks in a company? were not going to see a whole platoons of Sgts and officers haha
